USB flash drive: In this mode, you can access files on your HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0

(including data in the internal storage and microSD card) by opening your PC's new disk

drive and transfer files between your HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0 and the PC.

You can't access content in the microSD card from your HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0 when you connect

your HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0 to the PC in USB flash drive mode.

8.3 How do I transfer files between my HUAWEI

MediaPad X1 7.0 and a Mac?

1. Download and install Android File Transfer to your Mac from

http://www.android.com/filetransfer/ or a third-party website.

2. Connect your HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0 to the Mac using a USB cable.

3. Start Android File Transfer. You can then transfer files between your HUAWEI

MediaPad X1 7.0 and the Mac.

8.4 Why does the MTP drive installation fail after I

connect my HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0 to a computer?

The MTP drive must be used in conjunction with Windows Media Player 11 or later. Make

sure Windows Media Player 11 or later is installed on the computer before you install the

MTP drive. Then perform the following steps:

1. Connect your HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0 to a computer using a USB cable.

2. On the screen displayed on your HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0, touch PC Suite (HiSuite).

3. Open the new disk drive and double-click autorun.exe.

8.5 What do I do if no new disk drive is displayed for my

HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0 after I connect it to a

computer?

Try either of the following:



Check that you have installed Windows Media Player 11 or later on your computer.



If your HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0 is connected to a computer running Windows XP or

earlier, follow the onscreen instructions on the computer to install the driver for your

HUAWEI MediaPad X1 7.0.

If the problem persists and you only want to synchronize media files between your HUAWEI

MediaPad X1 7.0 and the computer, use Windows Media Player 11 or later.
